Green Space in Urban Environments: Raising the street edge to re-discover green space in Urban Environments. Green space can attract wildlife as well as contributing to de-sensitize our concrete/steel Urban fabric
Solar Power. Produce enough energy so the entity doesn't need external power, and if possible sell energy back to the grid, or be used to power Myer Centre.
Water Catchment. The raised street edge is utilized as a sink to catch rainwater and water runoff from the Myer centre. Water can be used for greenery and to flush toilets in Myer Centre.
Also: Energy used to make - embodied energy in materials and their fabrication/construction systems; Energy used to operate - renewables or fossil fuels.
